Level 4 (First Year of University-Level Study)
The Higher International Certificate in Finance Management (EduQual Level 4) is a 120-credit qualification academically benchmarked to the first year of a UK undergraduate degree.
This online finance management course provides learners with a strong foundation in business and organisational studies while introducing core finance concepts, including financial accounting and reporting, business finance, and the role of finance within organisations.
The programme integrates essential management knowledge across areas such as organisations, people and teamwork, marketing fundamentals, and operations, ensuring learners understand how financial decisions support wider business objectives.
The Higher International Certificate in Finance Management is an open-access course and most learners tend to complete this in around 6-12 months.
Level 5 (Second Year of University-Level Study)
Building on this foundation, the Higher International Diploma in Finance Management (EduQual Level 5) extends study to a total of 240 credits and is academically benchmarked to the first and second years of a UK undergraduate degree. Level 5 study develops more advanced and applied understanding of finance and management, including corporate finance, investment and working capital management, financial analysis, organisational performance, digital transformation, and operational decision-making.
As the HID incorporates all units from the Higher International Certificate in Finance Management (Level 4), it also remains open-access. Learners who already hold a recognised Level 4 qualification in Finance Management or a related business discipline may be eligible to enter directly at Level 5 via the Level 5 Top-Up route.
