Human Resource Management Qualifications
Levels 4 and 5 – University-Level Study
The Higher International Certificate in Human Resource Management (EduQual Level 4) is a 120-credit qualification academically benchmarked to the first year of a UK undergraduate degree.
It provides learners with a strong foundation in business and organisational studies while introducing core principles of human resource practice, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, people management, and organisational teamwork.
The programme integrates essential management knowledge across areas such as the business environment, organisational structures, and marketing fundamentals, ensuring learners understand how HR functions operate within wider business contexts. The Higher International Certificate in Human Resources Management is an open-access qualification, with most learners typically completing the programme within 6 to 12 months, depending on study intensity.
Building on this foundation, the Higher International Diploma in Human Resource Management (EduQual Level 5) extends study to a total of 240 credits and is academically benchmarked to the first and second years of a UK undergraduate degree. Level 5 study develops a more advanced and applied understanding of HRM, including performance management and reward systems, employee relations and employment law, organisational behaviour, operations and quality management, and digital transformation in HR contexts.
Open Access Entry
The Higher International Diploma incorporates all units from the Higher International Certificate in Human Resource Management at Level 4) with a further 120 credits at level 5, and so it also remains open-access.
Direct Entry at Level 5
Learners with a recognised Level 4 qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline may be eligible for direct entry at Level 5 via the Top-Up route. Reduced fees apply; please contact Click College for details.
